Some of the field trips the classes go on include: Boston Science Museum, Windham Textile Museum, Prudence Crandall House, and Mashantucket Pequot Museum. The Applied Arts program visits various locations to see first hand the role graphic design plays in our community.

One of our Senior trips was to Washington D.C. There the students were able to visit The Holocaust Museum, The Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, World War II Memorial, Smithsonian Art, American and National History Museums and the Air and Space Museum.

There are various activities offered for our students to participate in where our staff runs personalized groups to allow our students to further explore interests, future possible careers and demonstrate vocational skills. Some of these activities include journalism (newsletter), culinary arts, art appreciation, music composition, and vocational education (work crew).
