In History, there is an emphasis on colonial America, The United States from the Declaration of Independence through the Civil War, and the ancient world. The Overlook Team has taken educational field trips to such places as Old Sturbridge, The Connecticut State House in Hartford, CT, and Slater Mill in Pawtucket, RI. They have also visited local theaters and enjoyed recreational trips such as deep sea fishing, golfing, and hiking.
The Overlook school holds chess and archery tournament as well. We also recognize and celebrate holidays, the small and the large, with group activities such as trivia games, sporting activities, and buffet or barbecue luncheons.
